The family that run it are absolutely lovely and make you feel welcomed. The location is a little away from the quiet village. It is a short 15 minute walk to go into the village but the road has no foot path. The do not offer a cook hot breakfast and the Meal choices if you with to eat their in the evening are very limited but cooked nicely and taste delicious. The accommodation is clean and restored to a lovely traditional finish. They have a generous size pool, lots of seating and loungers out side. The garden and children’s play area is well equipped with a good range of equipment for children up to the age of 11. Wi-Fi was available but hard to get connected to when the place is full. If you are travelling through Tuscany by car or rail it’s well worth a stop off for a couple days rest. If you don’t have a car am sure the owners of the B&B would help you arrange transport from Montepescali station. They are 2 lovely restaurants in Montepescali and 2 bars one near train station. They are also a pharmacy and 2 small shops. This place is reachable by taking 1 train from Pisa central and the ride down along the coast is beautiful. And Pisa central from the airport is reached by 2mins on the Pisamover, mono rail. Which are both cheaply priced public transport. Well worth a visit if you want a-few days away from the hustle and bustle of busy life. I will be returning in the future. Oggi 28 dicembre, abbiamo cenato, con i piatti di Giacomo, persona stupenda, e con piatti a base di carne e funghi che mi ricordavano i tempi da bambino. Ottimo antipasto di salumi e formaggi, pappardelle con funghi porcini ,profumatissimi, fagioli Canelli i con salsiccia . Esperienza di gran pregio, avvolta dal silenzio del posto. Sicuramente da riprovare in primavera. La struttura permette di raggiungere in poco tempo tante attrazioni turistiche, che Pietro indica con grande precisione.

The staff - Pietro, Irena and Fatima took care of us for every little thing, even grandma Nara came and made a very delicious pasta! The pool is clean and wide, breakfasts are always fresh and the cappuccinos were excellent. Very convenient location!10Verificata Entspannter Urlaub mit Kind und Hund ☺Die Unterkunft war die schönste die wir je gesehen haben. Typisch toskanisch, auf einem leichten Hügel, tolle Gärten, Sitzplätze im Freien und der Pool ist grandios. Die Hunde durften sich frei bewegen und konnten mit am Pool liegen was unseren Urlaub sehr entspannt gemacht hat. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mein Kind (8 Jahre) hat sich ebenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und es gab im Garten ein Trampolin und ein Spielhaus. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr schön angerichtet und es gab alles was man braucht.
